Community

Thank you to everyone who has participated, attended, donated, sponsored, or volunteered at one of our D-Riven For Community events. We cannot express enough words of gratitude to the people who have helped us serve our amazing community. Only through you, have we been able to exceed all expectations and goals in funding, supporting, and promoting so many great causes.

D-Riven Engineered Solutions has been so lucky to work with the community and special causes that are close to our hearts. DES has built relationships with Breakthrough T1D, Fresh Start Club House of Ann Arbor, University of Michigan Transplant Center, Shelter Association of Washtenaw County, First Step Wayne County, 42 Strong, and House By The Side of the Road located in Ann Arbor, MI. This year D-Riven also had the opportunity to work with Empty Bowls Detroit to come together to fight food insecurity across Metro Detroit.

Together, we’re working to make a positive impact — and to empower those around us to be driven to do the same in their own communities.

Our premier events take place annually and include a full day of giving back that our team and community look forward to all year: the D-Riven for Community Golf Outing and Breaking Clays to Raise.

2026 D-Riven for Community

This past May, we gathered to support 42 Strong and their mission to foster meaningful connections through mentorship, community engagement, and mental health awareness. This sixth annual golf outing brought together like-minded professionals for a fantastic day of making a meaningful impact in our community. Thank you to everyone who joined us — we couldn’t be more grateful for your support!

Breaking Clays to Raise

In the Fall we host the Breaking Clays to Raise event.  The Breaking Clays event is a clay shoot, aimed at the goal of raising an exceeding amount of funds for the cause at hand.  Each year the event has hosted different causes and divided the funds equally amongst the causes.  This year the event will focus on giving back to the University of Michigan Transplant Center with proceeds benefitting Camp Michitanki. Camp Michitanki is a summer camp created by the University of Michigan Transplant Center in 2003 to provide an exciting camping experience for children who have received organ transplants.

The Breaking Clays to Raise is a full day event that consists of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and delightful refreshments at the Huntsman Hunt Club in Dryden, Michigan.  Participants are asked to sign up individually or in a team to participate in the breaking clays activity.  This is a highly anticipated event for D-Riven Engineered Solutions and we work months in advance to make this spectacular day of giving happen.  Learn more about Camp Michitanki and the amazing work the University of Michigan Transplant Center is doing here.

Making a Real Impact

D-Riven has made a real impact through community partnerships. Here is what the first half of 2026 looked like:

🏠 First Step Wayne County — Volunteered on-site serving 31 residents & staff, supported deep cleaning services, and supported their golf outing fundraiser.
🥣 Empty Bowls Detroit 2026 – to benefit Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan – 12+ D-RIVEN team members came together to fight food insecurity across Metro Detroit, donating $10,000 to the cause.
42 Strong Partnership — Hosted our annual golf event to benefit 42 Strong, raising $43,975 with 10 volunteers and 100+ volunteer hours.

The totals so far:
✅ 170+ volunteer hours
✅ $55,975+ donated

Having surpassed our original $50,000 goal, we are setting our sights on doubling that impact this year – because that’s what 10X impact means to us.

Our Partners

Our events have hosted spectacular guest including youth ambassadors from Breakthrough T1D and Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions running back.  The youth ambassadors of Breakthrough T1D allow our attendees a glimpse into their life of living with Type 1 diabetes and share their personal stories and experiences of living with Type 1.

Last year we also had the opportunity to join with Jahmyr Gibbs in a marketing collaboration and marketing partnership to help engage our events.  Jahmyr is not just an amazing athlete, he is also an official ambassador for his cause, Family Frameworks, that helps to educate nearly 2,500 teens each year in several counties across his hometown of Dalton, Georgia.  Jahmyr has a passion for helping his community and works to dedicate his time to learning about special causes.  In 2025, we welcomed Jahmyr to the D-Riven for a Cure golf outing, where he shared his time with our attendees and a group of likeminded people looking all to give back! This partnership is a testament to the commitment of DES to our community, and our joint motivation to give back.

We also host several other company gatherings throughout the year that support local causes and have a community driven focus of giving back.

We hope to see you at our next event!
