We are looking for an Electronic Controls Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, repair,and build industrial controls for industrial engineering projects. Your responsibilities will include the ability to program and build PLC Controls and automation systems.
The Electronic Controls Technician position troubleshoots, maintains, repairs, and builds industrial control systems. To be successful in this role, the position requires both hands-on skills in basic hand tools to wire and assemble, as well as in-depth technical knowledge of Industrial PLC controls and automation systems. Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems is also required.
Pay is hourly $28-34 per hour
Minimum Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assemble, wire, evaluate, test, and maintain industrial electrical and/or electronic wiring, equipment, industrial machines, and apparatus
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment, machines, and apparatus
- Construct and fabricate parts, using hand tools and specifications
- Read, interpret, and execute contents of electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
- Order electrical parts and supplies
- Complete work according to written and or verbal instructions
- Perform equipment start up and verification, both at D-Riven and at the customer sites
- Perform other duties assigned from time to time by the management team

Required Experience and/or Education:
- Associate’s Degree – Automation Technology or similar Electrical/Electronic Engineering Degree and/or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of experience with high-speed machines or other automated equipment in an industrial environment
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk; sit, stoop, kneel, crouch
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds
- Travel up to 50% of the time, weekend and overtime work may be required
